East Devon Music is proud to support Awards for Young Musicians.
For 25 years, Awards for Young Musicians (AYM) have supported talented young people from lower income families, helping them to overcome financial and social
barriers. Whatever the genre or style, their programmes help young musicians from across the UK to fulfil their musical potential.
Whether funding instruments, lessons or transport, expanding their musical networks or giving them opportunities to perform, AYM does all it can to give individual support
to young people. AYM are a proud member of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of funded organisations.
East Devon Music has funded an award programme by AYM especially for young musicians aged 5 to 17, born, living or studying in East Devon or Exeter. The Award
is to assist those with appropriate abilities towards achieving their full potential in their chosen musical specialism.
